Her teacher, Mrs. Ana, always said:
“Sofia has such a big heart that it lights up the whole class.”
One day, the school organized an art exhibition. Sofia painted a colorful picture with many flowers and a big sun in the center. When it was time to show it, all the children fell silent. It was the most cheerful drawing of all.
Then Sofia said in her sweet voice:
“I painted this because I believe the world is more beautiful when everyone smiles.”
From that day on, no one ever looked at her differently again. Everyone understood that Sofia was just like any other little girl: curious, fun-loving, and full of love.
And so, whenever someone felt sad, they would look for Sofia, because her smile had something magical about it: it reminded everyone that true beauty is not in how we look on the outside, but in the light we carry within.
